Link: Underworld: Evolution on Yahoo! Movies.
This sequel to the original Underworld movie that came out a couple of years ago is going to revisit the original lead protagonist characters (one of which is played by the beautiful British actress Kate Beckinsale).
I can hardly wait. Looks like the film is going to open in January 2006 - just a few months away!
Kate plays a vampire. Her beau is a werewolf-vampire hybrid. The original vampire from a couple thousand years ago is introduced in this one. Apparently he is really mad too!
Check out the trailers on the web page and see what you think, if you like horror/action/adventure/romance movies.

Mary Prankster is retiring! ;-(
Mary Prankster has rocked Virginia, DC, Maryland - heck, even Ocean City and - believe it or not - Cleveland, Ohio! I have seen Mary Prankster all over this great land America.
So it saddens me greatly to see that this fine songwriter, musician, and singer - not to mention all round great stage performer - will be hanging up her spurs next month and shuffling off to punk rock heaven.
She will still be around, doing something - somewhere. But as far as enjoying her wonderful performances of the music she created and so many people now know and love, I guess that is going to be over for us M.P. fans.
Thanksgiving weekend 2005 is the last chance to see her. Tickets are probably already sellng out for her final shows. If you want to see her - and believe me, you want to see her - you have to get on the ball and order those tickets now.
Her retirement announcement is in her blog at the link above. Details on her final shows are at Mary Prankster’s MySpace profile page. Look under "Events".
While you are there, you can also check out my MySpace profile - it is at: http://www.myspace.com/johnnysoftware.
And of course, do not forget to stop by the Mary Prankster home page - http://www.maryprankster.com/ - your HQ for all the cow punk music in the universe!
Oh, and in 3 days (October 25) the Laguana Beach DVD will be coming out. According to Mary’s blog, the DVD will feature a song called Angel by Mary Prankster and Josh Mobley.
There are still some Mary Prankster CDs and commemorative merchandise available at Mary’s website. But you had better hurry if you want to pick one up - her fans are mighty loyal and they might not leave a T-shirt in your size for long!
Oh, hey, if you have never heard Mary Prankster’s music before, check out her MySpace profile and her web site. You will be able to listen to several select songs and even find the lyrics to her songs if you hunt around (hint: A/V is the link to click on her web site to find the song lyrics for each album).

Yahoo has quite a cool movie portal for anyone who wants to use it.
I wanted, so if you follow the link above - you will get to mine. You can see the movies I want to see, take note of the Best Sci-Fi Films, Best Action Films, etc. All picked by me!
Then you can continue your fun by setting up your own account, if you do not already have one for Yahoo. Once you have that taken care of - you can rate movies to your heart’s content, add them to whatever lists you want to create, and even write your own reviews of them.
Pretty cool!
I like all the stuff Yahoo has added to their site in 2005. If you haven’t really looked around the site closely in the last year or two - you should do it. This is your opportunity to go check it out. Click my link above and you are on your way!!
I am not going to list every single film I like on Friendster because there just is not a lot of room. On Yahoo Movies, you can see them all though - and even the ones I really hate, My All-time Worst!
Friendster really packs a lot of features into their weblog facility.
I am really surprised. I did not expect them to offer that much functionality for bloggers because after all, it’s not a blogging site per se - it just includes blogging as one of the many things it lets you do.
However, it turns out they give you tons of nice blogging features for free. And, if you want more - you can pay a monthly fee according to how much service you want for your blog - and that’s what you get.
